ISQ and PToNANO are organizing a workshop on the “Responsible Development of nanotechnology”, to be held on the 18^th May at ISQ (Oeiras) in Portugal. In this workshop, whose focus is in the need and importance of a responsible development of nanotechnology in order to maximize its potential in economy and society, European experts coming from the European Commission, ECHA (European Chemicals Agency) and NANoREG project are the main speakers.

This is the 2^nd workshop organized by PToNANO in the frame of its participation on NANOREG and although participation is expected to come from all stakeholders involved in nanotechnology, it is expected a strong industrial participation due to the content of the workshop’s program which will debate key issues related to innovation, development and exploitation of nanotechnology and nanomaterials.
