Mapa de Portugal

Within NANoREG’ scope, a national survey was launched by PToNANO aiming at setting the nanotechnology state-of-art in Portugal, identifying key needs and knowledge gaps related to environmental, health, and safety (EHS).

Two surveys were prepared aiming different stakeholders: industries, technological centres, research groups, R&D institutes are being queried about their work with nanomaterials with particular emphasis on EHS issues, whereas policy makers, regulators, associations, NGOs, funding agencies, among others are asked to address the priorities and needs for adequate risk management of nanotechnology and nanomaterials.

Survey on "Current Status of Nanotechnology in Portugal - Health, Safety and Environment" to be answered by all interested parties (enterprises, industries, technological centres, research groups R&D institutes, public laboratories, among others) working on/with nanotechnology.

Survey on “Nanotechnology in Portugal - Regulate to compete” addressed to policy makers, Regulators, Associations, NGOs, funding agencies, among others.

This study will contribute to draw the map of nanotechnology in Portugal and is expected to help in the definition of priorities and adequate risk governance policy strategies at a national level.
